My travel xp in Vande Bharat express. 30.09.23 @5:20 am in Tirunelveli junction, As me and Kynita, after parking the car in the railway vehicle stand went through the new entrance wondering whether we are too early for a train leaving at 6:00 am, we could hear the announcement that the Vande Bharat express from Tirunelveli to Chennai Egmore is ready on the platform no. 1. The one thing that we could see was that most of the passengers were taking selfies with the just five days old train. Then moving towards our coach C4 and not to stay away from the flock we too took one selfie in front of C4 and uploaded to my husband and son😆.  As we passed through I could make out that the seating in chair car is 3+2 in each row and 2+2 in executive chair car. Metro kadhal Usually my Chennai trip would be ultrashort, I will be landing in morning and departing the day evening, occasionally an extended one night two day trip. I usually have a fear of traffic while travelling to Chennai. During the past two or three of my visits to Chennai, I had been using metro. So this time, once I landed up there in Chennai Egmore, I went straight to the metro station and there I got a tourist card for rupees 150, of which rupees 50 is a refundable deposits, with which we can travel multiple times in a day. After a quick scanning of my belongings and myself, I was allowed inside the station. The hanging hoardings directed me towards the platforms with numbers one and two. Walking down the memory lane takes me to the corridors of our school. On getting down from the school bus, I walked through it to my classroom with my backpack and lunch bag. The trees in breeze greeted us.    The well lit, ventilated, clean classrooms with green color windows and doors are evergreen in my thoughts. As the first bell goes, we gathered for the assembly. The assembly was not just a prayer ritual! Each day was special. Monday to Thursday we assembled class wise and on Fridays house wise. We had national flag or school flag hoisting and salutation, Thought for the day, News for the week, quiz etc. After the assembly, walking back to classes through main stairs resembled diverging zipper as boys and girls climbed through the bifurcating stairs. Two or three of us shared a bench and desk depending upon the size. The teachers along with our academics taught us life lessons which have taken us to these heights.  In the casualty or Emergency Medicine Department, a person may be produced by police with a requisition or memo from a police officer not below the rank of sub inspector of police or with a requisition from magistrate to examine and certify for drunkenness. Drunkenness certificate is written in a serially numbered register in duplicate , original being handed over to the police and duplicate retained in record for future reference. The real success in one's life is not in reaching heights in profession, gaining name and fame in society but in leading a successful family life, standing with spouse in tough times and rearing children to stand on their own earning and getting them into hands of a life partner at right time and leaving behind traces of fondful memories in everyone known. No doubt mommammai has led a very successful life, though her life since childhood had  thorns and obstacles, her perseverance and courage taught her the art of sensing the smell of roses amidst the thorns.
